2.2.1.3 Parathyroid hormone (PTH) increases Ca²⁺ absorption

Like sodium most of the calcium filtered into the glomerulus is reabsorbed in the proximal tubules. However, in the distal tubules, this re-uptake is further regulatedby the parathyroid hormone (PTH).
